The Village of Roses
The Julieta Olive Oil is produced in Romeu by Maria do Carmo Miranda da Silva.
Besides being a small and pretty village in the council of Mirandela, Romeu, also known as “The Village of Roses”, is integrated in the geographical area of the protected region of Trás- os Montes Olive Oil, with its olive groves belonging to one of the biggest and oldest olive grove patches in Trás-os- Montes.
The olive groves where Julieta Olive Oil is produced embody both secular olive trees, with several generations, and recent olive groves, a result of a continuous investment by the younger generations on the best assets the region has to offer: natural conditions for the production of paramount quality olive oil, recognized all over the world.
